Seattle Area American Homestay Pricing

Placement Fees: The placement fee is a one-time fee paid at the time of student application. Once we have placed you in a homestay, $275.00 of this fee is non-refundable. We also request a one time non-refundable cleaning fee of $100.00, which will be refunded if you choose not to accept our homestay placement.
Placement fee includes finding you a well-matched host family and airport transfer via town car. Your driver will meet you in the baggage claim or customs area of the airport and take you to your host family.
Monthly Homestay Fees:
The minimum stay is 8 weeks. Upon accepting your homestay you will be invoiced for the first 4 weeks. You must give your host 2 weeks notice of your intent to move out. If your VISA is denied all fees are refundable. Partial weeks will be calculated at a daily rate. Pricing for minors ( under 18 years of age ) may be priced separately. If you wish to stay fewer than 4 weeks, or are a minor student, please complete your application and contact us for details.
Meal plans assume that you prepare your own breakfast or lunch. Dinner will be prepared or made available to you. All homestays have private rooms with a bed, study area and closet for personal belongings. Internet connections, laundry facilities, and all utilities are included in the homestay price.
Premium homestay locations are located closer to the school you attend. In general, they are less than 30 minutes total transportation time from your homestay. Standard homestays are generally within 35-45 minutes from homestay to school.
If you wish to stay less than the minimum 8 weeks, premium pricing may apply.
We will send the student an invoice every 4 weeks and payment can be made online. It is important to make prompt payments so that your host is paid in a timely manner. We hope you choose American Homestay for the best homestay experience!
